There is something moderately sweeter about this one, but overall, it has brought back pleasant memories.

To me it is a very juvenile fragrance, but I don't think it really smells cheap; it's just a composition that doesn't appeal to me. These areas pulse having a temperature above the rest of the body, and this will help the fragrance to evaporate slower. It was created by Jean-Claude Delville from IFF, and he was expected to make a light but lasting perfume, what was a hard task to do. Originally I was wishing for crisp floral aldehydes but what what I’m actually getting on my skin is so much better-rich and sultry acacia nectar, green twigs and artisanal soap.I understand that it has been reformulated, but I never smelled the 1990 original, so I can't compare the 2. aqua (water), benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellol, geraniol, hexyl cinnamal, hydroxycitronellal, linalool, parfum (fragrance). It was created with love and enthusiasm, with a very limited budget, and it became a classic of the 1990-ties. The perfumes of the Grés house are different, they are not mainstream, they are not perfumes for a teenager or for a Kardashian type woman .

This perfume had been on my wish-list for over a year i think but I never got to it, untill today that is !I blind-bought the EDP version out of curiosity because of all the reviews and comparisons to Dior’s Tendre Poison, and it was a risky one for me, because green scents often tickle my nostrils the wrong way and can be even headache-inducing.

Thanks to its soft smell and the good sensations it conveys, this perfume has a high rate of acceptance among the female public, so it becomes a perfect gift idea. This fragrance is green, fresh, full of white flowers with a little fruit, aldehydic, it is the smell of freshly cut grass, the smell of laundry washed in a mountain stream, dried in a meadow full of flowers. Cabotine can change her faces, but it's still a fragrance for a woman who understands and appreciates perfumes. Finally, its wake takes on a warmer and slightly sensual tone, due to the presence of musk, sandalwood, vetiver and frangipani.I don’t know which one of those 80s frags Cabotine reminds me of, but I definitely smelled something like this when I used to bring a stool to reach for the shelf where mom kept her treasures. Cabotine EDP smells like eighties and early nineties, yes, but it smells like young people back then, like oversized plastic jewelry and sequins, curled voluminous hairstyles, flowy fabrics, high-heeled sandals, overdone makeup.
