About this deal

You may have heard of Dermatica and know them to be an online dermatology service whereby you upload photos of your skin and detail your concerns, for this to be looked at by their dermatology experts and have a prescribed treatment sent to you. I was initially expecting this to be quite watery but I actually like the gel consistency – it makes it easier to see where you’ve applied the product.

For instance, although citrus is a bit sensitizing for her, Cassandra likes their Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA toner as an AHA product. High potency of azelaic acid yet doesn't irritate me due to the additions of glycerin and squalane etc. The OTC didn’t take any adjusting to, whereas I had to build up to using my Dermatica prescription daily otherwise my skin would be very dry and sore. I've used four azelaic acid products over the past few years and I thought I would offer my personal ranking and score for each four. Dermatica says you can use this before your personalised formula but I prefer the Nourishing Ceramide + Peptide Moisturiser for this purpose. I'd give the product itself 4/5 for its effect on the skin, but minus 5 for the huge cardboard box it arrived in, when the bottle itself is only a few inches long. So I’m going to tell you why you need it, how to get it and whether the product is actually any good (it’s sooo good).

Please kindly let us know if you have not received it after this time, so we can continue to assist you further. Azelaic acid was recommended to me by renowned skin specialists Dr Stefanie Williams and Dr Anita Sturnham.Mine also contains azelaic acid for treating acne and improving skin texture and initially also niacinamide to boost hydration and calm inflammation and pigmentation. my dermatologist recommended azalaic acid for dark skin people who get acne and hyperpigmentation dark marks. It also contains anti-inflammatory ingredients like niacinamide, panthenol and centella asiatica which soothe the skin and reduce redness. Dermatica offers personalised skincare with strong prescription ingredients, such as Tretinoin, which is what my formula includes, to reduce the melasma. A new tube is posted out to you each month and you have regular online check-ins with a dermatologist to ensure that your prescription is still correct for you.

On the other hand, here is another superb option for someone who doesn’t want to spend as much, or perhaps they’re a first-timer with azelaic acid. Cassandra didn’t find that it helps with redness, and we want azelaic acid to help with acne, redness, and brightness. Azelaic is used to reduce breakouts and redness, fade dark spots, blemishes and marks, refine the skin tone and improve brightness. Im 43, ive suffered with acne and hyperpigmentation since the age of 12, i was bullied for this from the age of 12 to 16! This formula includes aloe, glycerin, and azelaic acid, but it’s worth noting that most azelaic acid products usually contain an azelaic acid derivative like potassium azeloyl diglycinate.Unlike other places in the world, here you generally have to go to your GP who can then refer you to a dermatologist. However, despite our best efforts to deliver your parcel on time, sometimes Royal Mail experience problems with their deliveries, they have advised us that deliveries may take up to 10 working days.
